To win Chaani and save Mohenjo Daro, Sarman must defeat Maham (Kabir Bedi) and his son Moonja (Arunoday Singh). As Hrithik fights the odds, death defying stunts, majestic set and flawless execution overshadow the rather clichéd plot.
The film had to have a class; after all, it has been made under the direction of Ashutosh Gowariker - the man behind epic dramas like 'Lagaan' and 'Jodhaa Akbar'. His attention to detail is conspicuous as he strives to keep the history alive.
There is no denying that 'Mohenjo Daro' is grand in all means, but it still faces the heat of high expectations viewers have after watching 'Jodhaa Akbar'.
Hrithik Roshan has done a fantastic job and leaves you spellbound with his virtuous act. Kabir Bedi on the other hand stands out in his never seen before avatar.

In Mohenjo Daro model and actress Pooja Hegde is making her Hindi debut with the best names of the industry, but it seems like she has been roped in the movie just for her looks and not talent. Blame it on her character that she didn’t get much to deliver or her inability to stand out, her presence in the movie doesn't travel too far.
Another factor that works in favour of the film is AR Rahman's incredible background score. It rhymes exactly with the flow of the script and definitely stays with you even after the movie completes is 155 minute cycle.
Ashutosh Gowariker loves to do things with perfection and this could be the reason he actually built a whole new Mohenjo Daro in Bhuj, Gujarat. Earlier, he had shot 'Lagaan' on the same location but with a different set.
Final verdict: 'Mohenjo Daro' mixes all the right elements to create a drama which is full of romance, action and adventure. It is a must watch for all Hrithik Roshan fans.
