New Delhi:
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will declare RRB NTPC result 2016 for the Non Technical Popular Category (NTPC) recruitment examination’s result by September or first week of October.
In an Official notification made by RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) the Board has said that the result of the first stage examination is under process while the second stage examination will be held in the month of November 2016. After the result of first stage examination is declared, the Board will release the exact date of examination on the official websites soon
About 56 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, therefore RRB has decided to hold two stage examination in this selection. The common CBT (examination) was held from March to May, 2016.
The announcement of RRB NTPC result 2016 will bring smiles to thousands of youth who had given the online written exam to fill 18,252 vacancies in various technical and non-technical posts of RRB; held across 400 centers across India.
It’s great news for various candidates who have appeared for the RRB Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) exam and they need to consistently check the website www.rrbmumbai.gov.in or indianrailways.gov.in for RRB NTPC result 2016. Due to the paper being of moderate level, the cut off set is expected to be quite high.
Candidates appearing for the exam were part of the world's largest computer based test organized for nearly 92 lakh candidates in March-May 2016. Further, the answer keys of the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) were released by the RRB on August 12.

The Indian Railways will announce the RRB NTPC result 2016 in a region-wise break-up and the marks will be displayed post-wise.
Approximately, 93 lakh candidates had applied for the vacancies out of which 56 lakh candidates were shortlisted for the online examination.
Next round
Candidates who are able to clear the written exam will then appear for skill test, aptitude test and document verification. For the positions of Junior Accounts Assistant, Senior Clerk and Senior Time Keeper the RRB will conduct typing skill test and for Assistant Station Master and Traffic Assistant posts, aptitude test will be conducted.
