1. Achiever 150 launched by Hero Motocorp

Country's largest two wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp on Monday launched an updated version of its premium segment bike Achiever 150, priced up to Rs 62,800 (ex-showroom Delhi), as it looks to enhance presence in premium segment.

The variant with drum brakes is priced at Rs 61,800 while the one with disc brakes is at Rs 62,800. "The launch of the next generation Achiever 150 is a reiteration of our strong focus on developing new, technologically superior and youthful products across segments for our customers in India and across the globe,"

 2. Mahindra & Mahindra introduces DiGiSENSE, cloud-based technology platform

 DiGiSENSE, a cloud-based technology platform has been introduced by Indian auto giant major Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) in its small commercial vehicles Jeeto and Imperio. The technology will enhance productivity of these vehicle owners, opening up a whole new dimension to the experience of vehicle ownership, M&M said in a statement. 

DiGiSENSE technology will be available in the X7 16 (BS4) variant of Jeeto and SC VX & DC VX variants of Imperio, it added. "With the introduction of DiGiSENSE, we have become the first OEM to introduce a connected vehicle technology in our small commercial vehicles, Jeeto and Imperio, for the utmost convenience of the customers," M&M President & Chief Executive (Automotive) Pravin Shah said.

3. Indian stock markets tank, Asian markets exhibit weak trend

The BSE Sensex ended with a loss of 374 points at 28,294. The BSE Sensex opened at 28,631 touched an intra-day high of 28,630.92 and low of 28,272.

The NSE Nifty closed with a loss of 109 points at 8,723. The NSE Nifty opened at 8,808 hitting a high of 8,810 and low of 8,715.The Sensex fell by over 370 points on Monday owing to the weakness in their Asian peers. Investors in the Asian markets have shifted their focus from central banks to American politics.
