Indian surgical strikes on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) targeting terrror launchpads located there drew varied responses from different nations. However, most of the nations criticized Pakistan for its inability to neutralize terror camps in its soil. Let's have a close look at the views coming from all over the globe:

Britain's reaction:

Britain asked both India and Pakistan on Thursday to show restraint after surgical strikes conducted by Indian army across the Line of Control (LOC). Further, it has called for opening dialogue between the two nuclear armed neighbours amidst heightened tension.

China's reaction:

China, Pakistan's traditional ally and one of the five permanent members (P5) of the United Nation's security council urged both India and Pakistan to solve their problems through dialogue. China's foreign ministry spokesman, Geng Shuang briefed the media that Beijing was in continous talks with both sides in order to maintain peace and regional security.

US reaction:

In the aftermath of the surgical strikes, US cautioned both India and Pakistan to avoid escalation and encouraged discussions amidst tensions.However, US strongly condemned the cross border attack on Indian army in Uri that led to the martyrdom of 18 Indian soldiers. Further, US national security advisor Susan Rice asked Pakistan to delegitimise terror groups carrying out deadly operations from its soil.The US snubbed Pakistan by aksing it to take strict and effective actions against UN designated terror groups like Jaish-e-Muhammad & Lashkar-e-Taiba; so as to secure a peaceful ambience in South Asia.Moreover, Rice also called her Indian counterpart Ajit Doval and drew attention to the dangers of terrorism to the South Asia region.

Bangladesh's reaction:

Bangladesh came out completely in India's support and claimed that it believed that every country reserves legal and internationally accepted rights to give befitting reply to attacks on its sovereignty. Further, the country also asked both the sides to maintain peace in the region.
