1. Kashmir tense after death of 12-year-old injured by pellets, curfew continues
Tension in Kashmir Valley once again rose on Saturday following death of a minor boy, who was injured during clashes between protesters and security forces in Safakadal area of the city. In light of the fresh events, the curfew remains in force in seven police station areas of the city.
Indian Air Force Chief Arup Raha on Saturday observed that attack on Pathankot airbase is a stark reminder of the times we live in. He was speaking the Indian Air Force Day celebrations at the Hindon air base near New Delhi. Army Chief Dalbir Singh and Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, honourary group captain of Indian Air Force, are also present at the event.
3. Defence Minister Parrikar advises against politicising contributions of brave Indian Army soldiers
Speaking at a public event in New Delhi, Parrikar urged everyone to respect Indian Army, "Everyone should acknowledge and respect the contributions made by brave Indian Army soldiers. We should observe some limits while questioning Indian Army."

5. Nawaz Sharif’s family denies ownership of any business in India: Pak media
The Sharif family on Friday clarified to Pak media that no member of Nawaz Sharif’s family owns or runs any businesses in India.According to report by Geo News, the Sharif family’s spokesperson categorically rejected the allegations levelled against it by the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan in this regard.
