Both are not permanent,’ these words were echoed by the king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, who is celebrating his 51st birthday on Wednesday.  The Baadshah has ruled over the hearts of his huge fan-following for over 25-years during his stint in the tinsel town, and today he is at the pinnacle of success where there is no dearth of love and success for him. But the journey to glamour, money and success has a very inspiring story behind. King Khan began his career with TV, today we take you to the few shows that Baadshah did before he came to Bollywood.   

Dil Dariya
King Khan first acting debut was a role in Lekh Tandon's television series Dil Dariya, which began shooting in 1988, but as production lags his first tv serial became Fauji.  Dil Dariya was about a Sikh and a Hindu family, and the tensions that brew between them, when the strife begins to rise in Punjab.

Fauji
In 1989 Fauji became SRK’s television debut  wherein he depicted a realistic look at the training of army cadets, he played the leading role of Abhimanyu Rai.  

Umeed
Shah Rukh Khan’s second serial after Fauji was Umeed. He played a small part, The show revolved around a rural background. It also had Deepti Naval and Joy Mukherjee as its main lead

Wagle Ki Duniya
Shah Rukh Khan played a cameo in Wagle ki Duniya for 11 episodes. The show got appreciation for its cult classic comedy. It has a theme about the middle class Wagle (played by Anjan Shrivastav). The show was based on the characters created by the prominent cartoonist, late RK Laxman. 

Circus
SRK’s relationship with Aziz Mirza fostered through the much-appreciated TV serial Circus. In Circus, Shah Rukh played the main lead as a reluctant owner of a circus, who wants to sell it off, but later changes his mind, when he becomes the part of its daily struggle. Circus also had maning big naes like Ashutosh Gowariker and Renuka Shahane, who were also the part of the show. show.

Idiot
This is the first serial where SRK played a negative role. It won the Critics award for the Best Film at the Filmfare.
