New Delhi:

The alleged Bhopal encounter that left 8 SIMI operatives killed after they managed to escape from Central jail is already caught in a rut of questions.

Amid criticism from Opposition over inefficient handling of the jailbreak, MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the matter is being ‘politicised for vote bank.’

Advocating for quick trial, Chouhan added, “How long can you keep them under trial? Some people even get chicken biryani in jail. We should seriously consider setting up fast-track courts.” He further said that “the slain men were dreaded terrorists who could have wrecked havoc.”
