The world of social media and internet sometimes bring out the very gist of a story by giving it a meaning altogether. The same goes with this video and the Chhath song that has left thousands nostalgic and is pulling everyone to come home.
In the video one the director makes sure to convey the message about the new generation who is busy in their career and how parents doesn't want to impose or force their new generation into their beliefs and practices.
Nitin Chandra, who has directed and Produced the music video along with, Neetu Chandra, Neo Bihar and Swar shradha, told PatnaBeats that what made him produce this video.
According to him, “I have noticed that students passing out from missionaries and English medium schools of Bihar and Purvanchal have very less inclination toward their own geography, its language and culture. So, I had written a story but co-incidentally got an offer from Sharda Sinha Ji to make a video on one of her song.”
He further added “Bihari diaspora need to start working toward creating ‘factors for pride’ for Bihari youth and coming generation. Our identity is in abysmal condition.”
Video has not only gone viral but it has been celebrated and appreciated by Bihari Diaspora around the nation including noted Bihari celebrities.
And, when it comes to Chhath songs, Padma Shri Sharda Sinha, is that one artist, who has always ruled the diaspora with her thrilling voice. Chhath without her song is like birthday without cake and continuing the legacy Dr Sinha’s latest music video: Pahele pahil hum kayeni chhath; which features model Kristine Zedek, and Kranti Prakash Jha has already hit the playlist of NRBs.
