Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil has made social media history by claiming the top notch spot of the most viewed Bollywood trailer on social media platforms with over 23 million views since it was released last Tuesday.
A brilliant teaser promo with Hrithik’s chilling voice began the promotions and gave the viewer an idea of better things to come.
The promotional strategy worked as people became hooked to the power of Hrithik’s voice and the teaser promo was followed by a brilliant sets of posters.
The lead pair of Hrithik and Yami Gautam portray a blind couple in the movie and thus emerged the idea of releasing a promo without visuals.
One of the posters released after the promo carried only Hrithik’s silhouette whereas another just revealed his face. Further, the majestic and gripping trailer of the movie was released via Hrithik’s social media on Thursday night and has been trending since then.
In the aftermath of the trailer’s success, Kaabil’s team namely Hrithik Roshan, Yami Gautam, Rakesh Roshan, Sanjay Gupta and Rajesh Roshan interacted with their fans via a Facebook Live Chat which also trended the whole of Friday.
Hrithik discussed how tough and challenging it was to perform the role of a blind man in Kaabil along with giving some deep insights regarding the movie.
He said that, “I think every role comes with its challenges and for both Yami and myself, the fact that we had to do so many different things in the film being blind was definitely a challenge. Not only walking and talking but also had to dance. Dance was the most difficult aspect in the film because and we rehearsed the dance moves for over 10 days and the actual shooting was done in 48 hours! Team Kaabil has surely been one of the best teams to work with so far and the energy on sets was always positive.”
