As twitter gets inundated with #HappyBirthdayVirat hashtag, and cricket legions gets frantic about the all-rounder's special day, former Indian opener and de facto 'Twitter King', Virender Sehwag steal the show with his humourous tweets.
Sehwag in one of the tweets referred Kohli as Chikoo, while in his most recent tweet he wished Kolhi in a funny manner, he wrote, 'Haazme ki Goli, Rangon ki Holi,Gujarat me Ghagra Choli Aur Batting mein Virat Kohli Poore India ko pasand hai#HappyBirthdayVirat @imVkohli". He has also posted a picture of him with Virat.Â

On Kohli's 28th bithday, Sehwag took to twitter on Saturday morning, for an interesting wish, he wrote, '"8 yrs ago we cud have dedicated this day by eating Chikoo. But tday,I think all auto/taxis shud start their Meter frm100 #HappyBirthdayVirat".

Sehwag, who is also one of the close Kohli friends, addressed the Indian Test captain as Chikoo, a nickname that Kolhi friends and fans have been referring him since his early days.
Yuvraj Singh in his book 'Test of my Life' has mentioned how this Çhikoo word comes from a famous character from  children's magazine Champak series. Yuvi in his book wrote "One evening, he (Virat Kohli) returned to the hotel with his hair nicely cropped. He has spotted a fancy hair salon close by and given himself a new look. 'How is it?' he asked excitedly as he ran into a couple of younger colleagues. 'Not bad, you look like a Chikoo (Sapodilla)," joked Ajit Chowdhary, the assistant coach looking from a distance.
