Former party general secretary of Samajwadi Party, Ramgopal Yadav broke down while addressing press conference in Itawa. He believed himself to be part of SP, even if he was not operating officially.
Rajya Sabha MP claimed that he was not greedy and if people believed on his innocence, justice must be done.
Ramgopal was expelled from party after Shivpal Yadav had levelled serious allegations against him. Shivpal had claimed that he was working as part of a “conspiracy†in collusion with the BJP to weaken the SP and tarnish the Akhilesh Yadav government’s image.

Ramgopal Yadav is a cousin of Mr. Mulayam and Mr. Shivpal, and considered to play the role of a “think tank.†He had strongly supported Akhilesh Yadav in the entire Samajawadi family fiasco.Â
