Driver of cash van runs away with Rs 1.37 cr in Bangalore

Bengaluru:

In a daring incident of robbery, driver of a van carrying cash to an ATM fled away with Rs 1 crore 37 lakhs in KG road, Bangalore. 

The driver was on his way to the KG Road ATM, but ran way with the money. DCP, West Bangalore N.M Anucheth has released a statement in which he said that four teams have been formed to investigate the robbery.

The incident happened at 1.30 pm near Bank of India branch at KG Road. 2 persons went inside the bank to collect the money from the bank. Driver started the vehicle and fled from the location. The vehicle doesn't have GPS tracking sytem.

Total amount 1 crore 37 lakhs was looted in which one lakh was Rs 100 notes ,rest were Rs 2000 notes.
