Lucknow:

PCC chief Sachin Pilot on Tuesday claimed the problems of people seeking exchange of notes after the Centre’s demonetisation move has only increased and there is “no impact” of steps taken by the government to provide relief.

“14 days have passed but there is no respite to people. They are facing hardship and the result of the measures taken by the government have failed to provide any relief,” he said in a statement.

The problems are only increasing and the prices of food have escalated, the former union minister claimed.

“The government should allow farmers to purchase seeds also from non-government centres. Those who have wedding ceremonies in their families are also not getting money from the banks due to the poor arrangement,” he said.
