Mumbai:

French actor-cum-stand up comedian Kev Adams has been all praises for Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and lauded her performance in 2014 release 'Queen'.

Kev admitted that he became a huge fan of Kangana ever since he watched the movie, given that how Ranaut transformed herself from the easy-going person to a completely shy girl in the movie.

He also averred that it was the 'Queen' director Vikas Bahl who explained Kev how it all exactly happened.

"I think it's a great work of acting she did in Queen with the help of Vikas who is a great director. I know she is big here. I can't wait to meet her,"  Kev said.

Apart from Kangana, Kev also sang praises for megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt.

"I know Amitabh Bachchan. He is like the Pope. He goes out of his house, and waves hands. I really respect that. Sometimes there are girls waiting outside my house too, but they are four. So his is impressive," the actor quipped.

Kev also said he finds Alia Bhatt "really beautiful" and hopes to catch "Befikre", which has been shot in Paris.

Interestingly, Kev will soon be collaborating with Vikas Bahl for Indo-French collaboration movie, which is tentaively named as 'Interpreter'.

While the French actor is thrilled to be a part of 'Interpreter', he admitted that Bahl is looking forward to rope in one of the leading Bollywood actress for the movie. However, he didn't divulge in any details about the same.

On the other hand, Vikas Bahl clarified that they will be zeoring on a A-lister actor before finalising the female lead.

"I think in the next couple of months, hopefully there'll be an announcement," Vikas said.

The "Shaandaar" director's movie with Kev is currently in the scripting stage and is likely to go on floors after Vikas wraps up his next, a biopic on 'Super 30' coaching institute founder, Anand Kumar.

Kev said he is looking forward to working in the film and will learn a little bit of Hindi too.

"In France, I am doing stand up comedy but I am not doing only jokes. I go on stage, I'll sing and dance. When I see Bollywood movies, that's exactly what I want to do. The work will be hard, I'll have to go into the culture and for that I'll have to know the language.
"In Vikas's movie, I'll have to speak Hindi and I'll learn it. Four years ago, I didn't speak English at all. Now, I still don't speak well but I am trying," Kev said.

Kev is on his second visit to India, where he had earlier come to shoot portions of his upcoming movie "To The Top" in Ladakh. It has been co-produced by Phantom films and Reliance.

"It was my first time shooting in India and it was an honor...It's hard to shoot in Ladakh and work there. We stayed there for more than two weeks and it was a beautiful experience. The movie is coming out next year.
