New Delhi:

The life full of dangers and misery took a fairytale turn on Tuesday for Murtaza Ahmadi, the six-year-old boy from Afghanistan who became an internet sensation after wearing a home-made shirt bearing Lionel Messi's famous number 10.

According to a BBC report, Murtaza finally met his idol in Qatar where the Catalan side are playing a friendly against Al Ahli club.

Not just this, Murtaza will also get the chance to walk out on to the pitch with Messi.

After Murtaza's photo became an online hit, Messi himself sent him a T-shirt with his autograph and football in February this year.

"I love Messi and my shirt says Messi loves me," the overjoyed Murtaza had said at the time.

Murtaza, who comes from the Jaghori district, in Ghazni province of Afghanistan, was forced to flee the country to Pakistan in May.
