New Delhi:

WhatsApp may soon add a revoke option to its features for you to make life even easier.  2016 saw a slew of changes and refreshments in the instant messaging app.

According to some leaks put out by Twitter account WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will soon let users revoke and edit messages which they have sent.

The Twitter video shows how the messages can be revoked or edited in the iOS version of WhatsApp. This simply means that users can apparently revoke a message even after it has been read by the recipient.

However, it remains unclear if the feature will make its way sooner or will take some time. Other than this, WhatsApp is also working on a new way to show ‘Status’, which could soon be made private.

A few months ago, WhatsApp added the video-calling feature to its app, which was a long-awaited feature.  With billions of active users, WhatsApp has become world’s biggest instant-messaging app.
