Aamir Khan starrer biopic ‘Dangal’ is continuing its dream run at the box office after hitting a century with a collection of over Rs 100 crore in just three days. With a fantastic weekend of colletion around Rs 104.25 crore, Dangal has made its Christmas and Sunday extraordinary.
The film shattered all box office by collecting Rs 41.25 crore- the highest ever single day collection in the Indian market. Dangal also became the first film to go beyond 40 crore nett mark in a single day.
Earlier the record of the highest ever single collection was held by Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo with Rs 39.32 crore.
With another record, Dangal has also become just the third film to enter the Rs 100 crore club in 3 three day after Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan. It also brings biggest ever weekend opening for Aamir Khan.
If the collections of the Dangal’s dubbed version (Tamil & Telagu) are also included then the film reaches Rs 106.75 crore mark nett.
Dangal showed excellent growth of around 20 per cent courtesy to a big national holiday rather being Sunday. The collections could have soared high if Christmas would have been on any other day, with an extra day in the weekend.

Saturday- Rs 34 crore
Sunday – Rs 41.25 crore approx.

With dubbed version ( Tamil & Telugu) : Rs 106.75 crore
With Dangal already being declared a blockbuster, the film has a good chance to rack in big numbers in coming days in lieu of New Year. With this pace, Dangal can soon smash Sultan’s box office collection record.
