TMC leaders and controversies, go side by side. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's nephew and Lok Sabha MP Abhishek has raked up controversy again through his violent threat.
The Lower House MP, said those who dared to challenge the TMC government will have their eyes gouged out and hands chopped off.
While addressing party workers, TMC’s youth wing chief said, “In the heart of Delhi, CM Mamata Banerjee and TM have proved that if the interests of the people of Bengal are hurt, we will not leave the matter. As long as Mamata is there, if anyone dares to stare, we will gouge their eyes out and throw them on the road, if they will raise their hands, we will chop them off.”
Earlier this year, Abhishek was slapped by a youth at Chandipur causing an outrage. The statement has left the TMC red faced.
