Amit Shah Attacks AAP Govt, Says Assembly Elections Will Wipe Them Out Of Delhi

New Delhi:

After the announcement of dates for Assembly polls in Delhi on Monday, Home Minister Amit Shah took dig at the incumbent AAP government saying it only made promises and spent tax payers’ money in the last three months on advertisement. “The people in Delhi are still waiting for free WiFi, 15 lakh CCTV cameras, new colleges and hospitals”, added Amit Shah.

Shah said the Assembly election will serve to lay the foundation of making Delhi a leader in development and added, “I hope that all the people of Delhi will vote and create a new record.”

Home Minister Shah also appealed BJP workers to spread the word about the ‘historic’ works done by Modi government for the country as well as Delhi and tell people how AAP government obstructed the development of Delhi.

Amit Shah said that the election in Delhi is meant to get people rid of those, who denied them free treatment under Ayushman yojana. He added that the election would wipe out those who disturb Delhi’s peace for the sake of vote bank politics.

Continuing his attack on AAP, Shah reiterated that the people in Delhi will teach lesson to those who misled them for five years and the BJP will form government under the leadership of PM Modi.

Earlier on Monday, the Election Commission (EC) announced the date of the upcoming Delhi Assembly Polls. According to the dates announced by Election Commissioner Sunil Arora, Delhi will cast the ballot on February 8 and the results will be announced on February 11.
