New Delhi:
In yet another unprecedented move, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday sent a six-page legal notice to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah and party's chief ministerial candidate BS Yeddyurappa.
The notice has been issued for criminal and civil defamation by Modi and Siddaramaiah demanded a public apology from him. He accused the prime minister of making some derogatory comments against his (Siddaramaiah) government during his election rallies in poll-bound Karnataka.
Earlier in the month, Modi targeted Siddaramaiah and the Congress government, calling it a ‘Seedha Rupaiya Sarkar’ and ’10 per cent government’ in his speech.

The Karnataka CM has threatened to sue Modi and the BJP in case the latter ignores his notice. The Rahul Gandhi-led Congress has also decided to file Rs 100 crore defamation suit against Modi in connection to the same.Â
