New Delhi:

Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has reportedly told party cadre to be prepared for building Ram Mandir. Thackeray on Monday met all MPs and MLAs at Matoshree.  The meeting was called to review the poll preparedness of the party for the upcoming polls. According to reports, Thackeray informed the party workers that the verdict of Ram Mandir will come soon as the Supreme Court is hearing the matter on a day-to-day basis. He has instructed the party cadres to be the first one to lay the brick of the Ram Mandir.

"From the first day, we are demanding Ram Mandir. You can recall when Babri was demolished Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray had taken responsibility. These things are going on since 1990-92.. For how many more years should we wait? We have been hearing that the case has come to the last stage. My request to the judiciary is please give the judgment asap. Beyond this, we expect from the government is that the way you took a decision about 370 in your capacity without waiting for court or here & there.. As we say Kashmir was, is & will remain an integral part of india.. The way you took a courageous decision about Kashmir same way you take a courageous decision about Ram Mandir," Uddhav Thackeray said.

Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and other leader including his son Aaditya Thackeray had visited Ayodhya in June and offered prayers at the makeshift Ram Lalla temple.

During their visit, the Sena chief has said, "Ram temple has to be constructed at the earliest. PM Modi has the courage and the Hindus of the whole world are with him. The government should bring an ordinance for construction of Ram temple and we will support it."

The Sena Chief also demnaded an ordinance to built the temple, if needed.
