New Delhi:
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), hoping to nail its presence in Northeast state Mizoram, has announced that it will begin its poll campaign in the state on October 17.
The BJP, after it created history in Assam and Manipur in last elections, is making all-out efforts to recreate the historic moment in Mizoram too.

Starting the BJP poll campaign in the state on October 17, BJP president Amit Shah will inaugurate the party office at Aizawl. On the same day, Shah will also address booth-level workers on poll preparation. Around 1500 booth-level workers are expected to attend the meeting.
Assembly elections will be held in the state on November 28.
The BJP has decided to contest the elections on its own and not form a pre-poll alliance with any party. Party sources, however, said that it can form an alliance in case it failed to get enough seats to form the government.
