Yamaha Motor India has started 'Pre-Monsoon Check-up Camps' in June i.e. from June 1 to June 30. Yes, you read it right. So hurry up, fix the appointment and visit the nearest dealer as the check-up is free of cost and also covers 14 essential touchpoints on motorcycles and scooters.

It is to be noted that along with the check-up, Yamaha customers can avail discounts on helmets, other accessories, periodic service labour charges and periodic service genuine parts. The check-up camps are setup at the company's authorised service centres across the nation.

"As a responsible two-wheeler manufacturer, the company is committed to ensure high standards of safety. While Yamaha vehicles are equipped with minimal risk features, the check-up camps will help to further enhance the overall riding experience during the rainy season. A safe-riding experience, particularly during monsoon will come along with discounts on selected assortments of genuine parts and accessories from Yamaha," Yamaha Motor India Senior Vice President for Strategy and Planning Ravinder Singh said in a statement.

Yamaha’s line-up in India comprises of motorcycles like YZF-R1, MT 09, YZF-R3, YZF-R15 version 3.0, MT 15, FZ 25, Fazer 25, FZ-S FI, FZ FI, Saluto, Saluto RX, and scooters like Cygnus Ray ZR, Fascino, Cygnus Alpha and Cygnus Ray Z.

Interestingly, the company had launched Yamaha MT-09 in February this year for an introductory price of Rs 10.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). However, In March 2019, the two-wheeler maker had introduced MT-15 for a starting price of Rs 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Also, it is highly anticipated that the next generation Yamaha YZF-R3 will be launched in India later this year.

In May this year, India Yamaha Motor's overall production had reached 10 million units since the two-wheeler maker began operations in the country in 1985. Yamaha FZS-FI Version 3.0 became the 10 millionth unit and it was manufactured at the company's Chennai plant.
