Maruti Suzuki, one of India’s leading car manufacturer, is planning to put up a show of 18 cars in the upcoming car show, Auto Expo 2018.

The line-up exhibits from the company will range from mild facelifts of pre-existing cars to futuristic electric cars that are aimed at building a new ecosystem in the country. The venue for the Auto Expo 2018 in Greater Noida expands up to 4200 acres in land.

The first best facelift that the audience is waiting for is the new Maruti Suzuki Swift. The car will be filling in the spot of the existing Suzuki Swift, which is the second generation of the popular line-up. The new Swift will be build with new chassis and design language which upholds a similar silhouette but is sharper and practical in many aspects.

The next facelift eagerly waited by the audience is of the Ciaz. This facelift will bring back mid-ranged sedans into the market. With new updated Verna and Honda City in competition, the new facelift Ciaz has all eyes on it.

The company’s MUV Ertiga will also get a facelift edition on the Auto Expo 2018 stage. Maruti recently released a teaser of its new Concept Feature S that will be in direct competition with Renault’s Kwid.

Apart from this line-up, Maruti Suzuki is planning in terms of clean energy and hybrid electric powertrains. The company can also reveal an electric vehicle (EV) with the aim to bring it into the market by 2020.

The Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) technology by the company might be added to the smaller cars, including the new facelift Swift. Until now, the SHVS technology can be found in Ciaz and Ertiga.

The concept of the electronic vehicle marks the theme of Maruti Suzuki at the 14th edition of the Auto Expo this year.
