The kickstart of the Auto Expo witnessed many big manufacturing companies unveil and launch their new flagships in the market.
One such flagship launch was by Mercedes-Benz India which launched its new Maybach S650 in the market and priced it at Rs 2.73 crore for an ex-showroom rate, while the Maybach S560 is priced at Rs 1.94 crore for an ex-showroom rate.
The Mercedes Maybach S650 takes inspiration from the S-Class line-up with a long wheelbase model. The new Mercedes Maybach S650 replaces the S600 in the Indian market.
The S650 gets 20-inch alloy wheels instead of the 19-inch ones like that of the S500. The new features of the S650 come with a slightly updated front end and bumper with larger air dams, new LED headlamps, little bit tweaks at the rear with new tail lamps and a restyled bumper. Along with this, the car gets the Maybach badge on the C-pillars and wheels.
Powered by a 6-liter V12 Biturbo engine, the car makes close to 620 bhp and a peak torque of 1,000Nm. The engine comes mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission.
Mercedes-Benz India showcased a line-up of 13 automobiles at the Mercedes pavilion at this year’s Auto Expo. The line-up included the new Maybach S650, E-Class All-Terrain, Mercedes Concept EQ and many more.

An industry first, we will launch an AI-based Chatbot, which uses artificial intelligence to answer customer questions on Mercedes-Benz products. It will also have an Artificial Reality based function which will further enhance customer interactivity with the Bot.”
