German luxury car maker BMW launched the all-new version of its M2 Competition model priced at Rs 79.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The all-new BMW M2 Competition is available in petrol variant as a completely built-up (CBU) model at all the BMW dealerships across India with immediate effect, BMW India said in a statement.
BMW India said its parent in Germany has elevated the benchmark in the compact high-performance sports car segment.

BMW M2 Competition is powered by a three-litre six-cylinder petrol engine and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/hr in 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/hr. In the M2 Competition, it makes 410hp and 550Nm of peak torque.
The all-new BMW M2 Competition offers full everyday usability while captivating its racing flair.
The luxury sedan is available in five colours namely, Alpine White, Sunset Orange, Hockenheim Silver, Long Beach Blue and Black Sapphire.
BMW M2 Competition’s cabin features iDrive controller, a seven-speaker system with a 6.5-inch colour screen, front and rear parking sensors and a reverse camera. It has an optional M Sport seats with illuminated M2 badge and standard M Seat belts.
BMW claims a 0-100kph time of just 4.2 seconds for the M2 Competition, while top speed is limited to 250kph.
There are three drive modes on offer with the M2 Competition – Comfort, Sport and Sport+ - each of which change the car’s ride and handling characteristics.
