Hyundai India has unveiled its new 2019 i20 Elite in the Indian market with some updated features and prices. The new updated i20 Elite is still the same in exterior and interior looks only some feature-wise changes could be seen. For example, i20 Elite Magna Executive 1.2 has been renamed to Magna + and the Sports and Asta models are combined together to make Sportz +. Hyundai has reportedly introduced these changes when Maruti Suzuki is all geared up for the launch of a facelifted Baleno.
Here we bring to you the list of new updates in Hyundai i20 Elite 2019 models:
Era MT - The base model of Hyundai i20 Elite now comes with parking sensors and Eco coating. The Era MT model doesn’t come with Sunglas holder, 2-DIN Integrated Radio, Mp3 Player, High Gloss front grill and much more.
Magna + - The Magna Executive 1.2 is now Magna + and is now equipped with features which were missing in 2018 model. It includes Bluetooth, steering-mounted audio controls, voice recognition, chrome grille, keyless entry, DRL+fog lamps, front map lamps along with rear parking sensors. The price of Magna + is around Rs 26,000 more than the 2018 model.

Sports + - The top variants of Asta and Sports is now called Sports + and this variant will also see some updated features including 15-inch gunmetal alloys (single-tone variant), 16-inch diamond cut alloys (dual-tone variant), chrome grille surround, Arkamys AVN system with smartphone connectivity, rear parking camera & sensors, sliding front armrest and tilt/telescopic steering.
Dual-Tone Sports +/CVT – It now comes with wireless charging also and the dual-tone variant gets adjustable rear headsets
Hyundai i20 Elite comes in both petrol and diesel engine versions. The petrol version has 1.2 L Kappa Dual VTVT four-cylinder petrol engine mated with five-speed manual and CVT transmission.
And, the diesel variant comes with 1.4 L U2 CRDi four-cylinder diesel engine mated with six-speed manual transmission.
