Indian automaker Mahindra and Mahindra recently introduced XUV300 in the Indian market which is based on SsangYong Tivoli is being manufactured at the manufacturer's production facility in Nashik. The all new Mahindra XUV300 has an edge over its rivals Ford EcoSport, Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. The Indian automaker has already received more than 4,000 bookings of Mahindra XUV300 and more than 60,000 enquiries across all dealership. The key features of the SUV are its seven airbags, front parking sensors and the dual LED daytime running lamps. Ever since the launch of Mahindra XUV300, the prospective buyers have been eagerly waiting for an honest review of the compact SUV. Here, we bring to you a complete and detailed review of Mahindra XUV300:

Engine – Mahindra XUV300 comes in two engine variants, 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine which can produce 110hp and 200 Nm of torque and 1.5-litre diesel engine which generates 117 hp of power and 300 Nm of torque. The engine is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission and the automatic in diesel is more likely to come soon.

Variants – It comes in four variants in both petrol and diesel engine version, W4, W6, W8 and W8 (O).

Features – The base model of Mahindra XUV300 comes with some features as standard all-wheel disc brakes, ABS with EBD, dual airbags, speed-sensing door locks, child seat anchors, corner brake control, central locking and front seatbelt pre-tensioners.

The W6 variant that comes with a touchscreen with navigation, steering-mounted controls, follow-me-home headlamps, black roof rails, a roof spoiler and remote key entry. 

The W8 variant comes with a hill-hold, ESP, front and rear fog lamps, an anti-theft alarm, rear wiper and washer, a height adjustable driver’s seat, rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, auto headlamps and wipers, electric folding mirrors, dual-zone climate control, projector headlamps, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, keyless entry, LED DRLs, cruise control, engine start/stop button, a micro-hybrid system.

FINAL VERDICT – The base variant of Mahindra XUV300 W8 is a perfect option if the buyers are restricted by budget. But, if the buyer is looking for some premium interior and exterior features then one should definitely go for the W8 variants
