Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the facelifted version of 2019 Baleno in the Indian market. The price of the updated car is expected to be announced by the end of the month while the deliveries of the car will begin from first week of February. The booking amount of the new facelifted Baleno is Rs 11,000 at Nexa dealership. Apart from this, Maruti Suzuki will also update the Baleno RS with all-new black interiors and new alloy wheel design.

The first thing which comes to notice by looking at the facelifted variant of Baleno is its all-new front bumper design with a larger air dam and vertical placements of fog lamp housings.

It also gets LED projector headlamps instead of the HID units in the latest Baleno and some reports even suggests that these will be offered in all the variants including the base variant Delta. On the back also, the all-new Baleno will see a little change in its rear tail-lamp and bumpers.

Under the hood, the 2019 Baleno sport a 1.2-litre petrol which can produce 82 Bhp of power and 115 Nm of torque and 1.3-litre diesel engine can produce 74 Bhp of power and a peak torque of 190 Nm.

Talking about its interior, the premium hatchback gets new black and blue combination for the seat texture and door trims. It comes with latest generation SmartPlay Studio infotainment system which recently made its debut in WagonR.

It also gets a new colour option for its upholstery and door pads, along with slight changes to the trim on the dashboard and AC controls.

The company has also confirmed that all variants of the Baleno facelift will come with rear parking sensors, speed warning and passenger seatbelt warning as standard.

The company has sold over 5.2 lakh units of the model cumulatively till date. Last week, Maruti had also started the booking of highly anticipated next-gen Wagon R. Customers also have a choice of opting for online booking by logging onto the company’s website. The new Wagon R will be available with a new 1.2 litre petrol engine option along with another choice of 1 litre engine.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno is in direct competition with Hyundai i20 Elite and Honda Jazz.
