New Delhi:
The Maruti Suzuki introduced new sporty variant for Ciaz S with both petrol and diesel options. The petrol version of Ciaz S will get a starting price of Rs 9.39 lakh whereas the diesel version will be priced at Rs 11.55 lakh (both the prices are ex-showroom Delhi)
Ciaz S will come with a large trunk-lid spoiler, a new sporty body kit, and premium interior.
The new sporty Ciaz will have 1.4-litre petrol engine that churns out 91 bhp and 1.3-litre diesel engine that pumps 88 bhp of power.
The Diesel engine comes with an SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle from Suzuki) system. While the petrol version and the Diesel version will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed manual unit respectively, the petrol variant of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz S will also have a 4-speed autobox.
With the new Verna is all set to launch by next week, the Ciaz S may be a strategic move to keep prospective buyers interested.
