With the launch of a Reo Elite electric scooter in India, Ampere Vehicles has finally expanded its product portfolio. It is to be noted that Ampere Vehicles is a subsidiary of Greaves Cotton Limited. Coming back to the Ampere Reo Elite, the price for the newly-launched electric scooter in India has been set at Rs 45,099 (Ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
Interested buyers can book the Ampere Reo Elite electric scooter by paying a token amount of Rs 1,999 on the company's website. According to the Ampere, the customers who book/buy a Reo Elite will get a free helmet as part of the company's safety promotion drive. It is worth mentioning here that the booking amount will be discounted from the final invoice.

As for the specifications of Ampere Reo Elite are concerned, the electric scooter comes equipped with a 250 watt motor along with a lead-acid battery that has a range of about 55-65 kilometres on a single charge. It further gets features like LED digital instrument console, and USB charging point.

The scooter has a kerb weight of 86 kg and gets 110 mm drum brakes at both ends. Ampere Reo Elite comes in Red, White, Blue, and Black colour options. So far, Ampere has sold over 50,000 units of its electric scooters.
