Auto Expo 2018: 10 stunning bikes to watch out for this year

The 14th edition of India’s famous motor show, Auto Expo 2018, is about to commence. The Auto Expo 2018 will start on February 9 and will have a grand finale on February 14.

The participant's list of this year’s motor show is not long enough as compared to the other editions, still, there are some amazing cars and bikes lined up for the audience.

Talking about bikes, the list of exhibitors for two-wheelers has names like BMW India, Ashok Leyland, Suzuki Motors, Hero MotoCorp, among many others.

We present to you 10 bikes which will be unveiled at this Auto Expo edition!

Kawasaki H2 SX
Kawasaki H2 SX

Kawasaki H2 SX was unveiled at the EICMA 2017 motor show in Milan in November. The bike gets a 998 cc, in-line four-cylinder supercharged engine which makes 199 bhp and gives a maximum torque of 137.3 Nm. The bike also comes with six gears with a maximum power of 200 PS.

Kawasaki Ninja 400
Kawasaki Ninja 400

Kawasaki Ninja 400 features an all-new 399 cc, parallel-twin engine that makes up 45 bhp at 10,000 rpm and around 38 Nm of peak torque. The bike is said to priced between Rs 3 to Rs 4 lakh.

Kawasaki Z900 RS
Kawasaki Z900 RS

The Kawasaki Z900 RS takes inspiration from the Kawasaki Z1. The engine of the Kawasaki Z900 RS comes as 948 cc, with an in-line four motor and a unique state of tune. The engine makes 110 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 97.9 Nm of peak torque. The new Z900 RS gets traction control, LED lighting, radial-mounted brake callipers and slip-assist clutch.

Suzuki V-Strom 650
Suzuki V-Strom 650

Suzuki V-Strom 650 will be the first middleweight offering by Suzuki in India. The bike is powered by a 645 cc, v-twin engine that makes up 71 bhp of power. The styling of the V-Strom 650 is inspired by its predecessor 1000 cc Suzuki V-Strom, but uses a smaller engine. The V-Strom 650 is expected to be priced between Rs 7-8 lakh.

Hero XPulse
Hero XPulse

Hero XPulse, by Hero MotoCorp, will also be unveiled at the Auto Expo 2018. The bike was first showcased at the EICMA 2017 in November. Powered by a new 220 cc, single-cylinder engine making around 20 bhp of power. The two-wheeler is said to be priced around Rs 1 to Rs 1.2 lakh.

Emflux One
Emflux One

Emflux One, the new two-wheeler by the Bengaluru-based start-up company Emflux Motors, will be India’s first electric sport bike at this year’s Auto Expo. The sport bike will have a top speed of 200 kmph with 0-100 acceleration in just 3 seconds. The bike will have Brembo brakes with ABS and Ohlins suspension. The bike will be priced at around Rs 5-6 lakh and is set to be available from 2019.

Honda CBR300R
Honda CBR300R

Honda CBR300R, by the Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), will be replacing the Honda CBR250R. The two-wheeler will feature a single-cylinder, liquid cooled 286 cc engine which makes 30 bhp and will come with a six-speed transmission. The standard Anti-Lock Braking system will be put on the CBR300R and the bike will be priced around Rs 3 lakh.

BMW F 750 GS
BMW F 750 GS

BMW F 750 GS, also unveiled at the EICMA 2016 show, gets an 853-cc parallel-twin engine with different states of tune and equipment. With alloy wheels which make 77 bhp and 83 Nm of peak torque, the two-wheeler will be introduced as a CBU model. The price of the bike is not expected yet.

BMW G 310 GS
BMW G 310 GS

BMW G 310 GS is also powered by the same engine of G 310 R but gets a long travel suspension and different gear ratios. The bike was first unveiled at the EICMA 2016 show globally and is set for an India unveil in the Auto Expo. The G 310 GS is expected to be priced at Rs 3 lakh.

BMW G 310 R

BMW G 310 R, which has already been launched in the global market, is all set to be launched in India. The BMW G 310 R shares a same engine as TVS Apache RR 310 with a reverse inclined 313 cc single-cylinder engine that makes around 33 bhp and 28 Nm of peak torque. The G 310 R is expected to be priced around Rs 2.5 lakh.
