Ducati has recently launched the all-new Diavel 1260 and Diavel 1260 S in India. While Ducati Diavel 1260 costs Rs 17.70 lakh (ex-showroom), Ducati Diavel 1260 S gets a price tag of Rs 19.25 (ex-showroom). It is worth mentioning here that Ducati bookings are open across all Ducati dealerships in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad.
2019 Ducati Diavel 1260
The 2019 Ducati Diavel 1260 has replaced the current Ducati Diavel. The 2019 Ducati Diavel 1260 comes equipped with the new Testastretta DVT (Desmodromic Valve Timing) 1262 cc engine that churns out 159 hhp at 9,250 rpm and 129 Nm. The variable timing system acts continuously on the intake and exhaust camshafts, helping the engine adjust power delivery to suit riding conditions.
It comes with a fresh chassis set-up. Also, there is a new tubular steel trellis frame with an aluminium swingarm anchored to it. The 240 mm wide rear wheel has a diameter of 17 inches. The motorcycle further gets a 6-axis Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit.
The Diavel 1260 also feature an updated electronics suite that includes Bosch Cornering ABS EVO, Ducati Traction Control EVO, Ducati Wheelie Control EVO, Ducati Power Launch EVO and cruise control. The motorcycle can be mated with the Ducati Link app to set up the journey mode through the smartphones. The app also provides comprehensive maintenance deadline info, user manual and Ducati store locator.
Ducati Diavel 1260 is available in a single colour option i.e. Sandstone Grey with Black Frame.
2019 Ducati Diavel 1260 S
The Ducati Diavel 1260 S version is sportier than Diavel 1260 and gets features like fully adjustable Ohlins suspension at front and rear, dedicated wheels and high-performance braking system. The motorcycle also gets Ducati Quick Shift up and down Evo as standard to allow clutchless shifting and is compatible with the Ducati Link App. Ducati Diavel 1260 S comes in two colour schemes i.e. Thrilling Black and Dark Stealth with Red Frame and Sandstone Grey with Black Frame.
