The BS6 version of Honda Activa 6G was recently launched in India at a starting price of Rs 63,912 (ex-showroom. Delhi). The sixth-generation Honda Activa 6G comes equipped with a new avatar that includes fresh design elements and changes to the engine. It is to be noted that BS-VI (BS6) emission regulations are set to kick in India from April 1, 2020. Coming back to Honda Activa 6G BS6, the scooter comes with Glitter Blue Metallic, Pearl Spartan Red, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Black, Dazzle Yellow Metallic, and Pearl Precious White colour options.
On the looks front, Honda Activa 6G BS6 comes with a full metal body. It gets a redesigned front apron, revised LED headlamp, and tweaks to the rear. It boasts of features including digital-analogue meter, engine start-stop switch, 18-litre under-seat storage, double lid external fuel fill, multi-function switch, and CBS with equalizer. The scooter further gets telescopic front forks, a 3-step adjustable rear suspension, and a 12-inch wheel. There are drums at both ends and is available in two variants i.e. Standard and Deluxe.
Under the hood, Honda Activa 6G comes equipped with a BS6-compliant, HET, 109.51 cc, PGM-Fi (Programmed Fuel Injection) engine that churns out 7.68 bhp at 8,000 rpm, and 8.79 Nm of peak torque at 5,250 rpm. Importantly, Honda Activa 6G BS6 also has a silent start technology.
