MV Agusta on Monday launched the Dragster 800 RR Range in the Indian market. Notably, MV Agusta’s Dragster 800 RR range includes the standard Dragster 800 RR, the Dragster 800 RR America, and the Dragster 800 RR Pirelli. It is to be noted that the Dragster 800 RR series is a street fighter motorcycle line up from MV Agusta.
MV Agusta’s Dragster 800 RR range gets a colour combination of red, blue and white. Also, each unit features an 'America Special Edition' badge and the production serial number. The seat gets red colour and the tank is done in metallic blue and red while the trellis frame is painted red too.
Being the flagship and exclusive variant, the Pirelli variant gets a special colour scheme that pays homage to the tyre manufacturer. The color schemes for the model include Matte Black with Pirelli Yellow and Ice Pear with American Blue. According to a report of NDTV’s carandbike, parts of the two-wheeler such as the tank slider and fairing have been manufactured using specially formulated rubber which is resistant to atmospheric and chemical changes. Also, the tyres are new Diablo SuperCorsa SPs, 120/70/R17 unit up front and a 200/55/ZR17 at the rear.
MV Agusta standard Dragster 800 RR, the Dragster 800 RR America, and the Dragster 800 RR Pirelli are powered by the 798 cc liquid-cooled 3-cylinder engine that churns out 140 bhp and 87 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slip assist clutch on offer too.
The price for the Dragster 800 RR and the 800 RR America in India has been set at Rs 18.73 lakh, while the 800 RR Pirelli costs Rs 21.05 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom, India).

It is worth mentioning here that MV Agusta’s 800 RR America range is a special edition model and only 200 units will be on sale worldwide. MV Agusta’s motorcycles are retailed through Kinetic Motoroyale outlets in India.
