TVS motor company has reportedly discontinued the sale of Jupiter Grande in India. It is to be noted that the drum variant of Jupiter Grande was priced at Rs 55,936 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the disc variant of the scooter was priced at Rs 59,648 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Instead, the automaker has upgraded the Jupiter ZX trim with the bunch of new features. The upgraded Jupiter ZX now comes with an LED headlight, a semi-digital instrument console and an adjustable rear monoshock. The scooter is available in two colour options - Starlight Blue and Royal Wine.
Planning to buy it? So here are the prices of the TVS Jupiter ZX. The TVS Jupiter ZX is priced at Rs 56,093 for the drum brake version, while the disc brake version is priced at Rs 58,645 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
Launched in 2013, TVS Jupiter is now available in three trims i.e. Base, ZX (disc and drum) and Classic. Below are the variant-wise prices (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The scooter is powered by a BS4 compliant, 109.7 cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, OHC petrol motor that churns out 8 bhp and 8.4 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a CVT.
On the competition front, TVS Jupiter is up against Honda Activa 5G and the recently-launched Hero Pleasure+ 110 in the Indian market.
Recently, the company introduced an updated version of the TVS Apache RR 310 and equipped it with a Race Tuned slipper clutch. Apart from Race Tuned slipper clutch, TVS Apache RR 310 gets minor styling upgrades including a new colour - Phantom Black. The slipper clutch also allows rapid downshifts preventing wheel hop and chain slip. The updated version of TVS Apache RR 310 costs Rs 2.27 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
