At the Auto Expo 2020 in Greater Noida, Morris Garages India (MG Motors) has officially unveiled the 6-seater version of the MG Hector i.e. Hector Plus, full-size SUV Gloster, and MPV G10. In total, MG Motor has showcased as many as 14 advanced vehicles across hatchback, sedans, and utility vehicle segments.

MG Motor India President and Managing Director Rajeev Chaba said, "HECTOR PLUS is designed to build on the success of HECTOR and has a more premium look and customisable seating configuration, along with revamped interiors and exteriors." He further stated that the new model is scheduled to go on sale later this year.

"The launch of Gloster and G10 will mark our entry in the luxury Sport utility vehicle (SUV) and Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) segments respectively. We are confident that, with its best-in-class features, specifications and performance, the Gloster will be a benchmark for luxury SUVs in India with its launch later this year and G10 will also follow soon," he added.

Hector Plus is a 6- and 7-seater addition to the Hector brand that the company claims are India's first internet car. On the other hand, the G10, which is expected to give a direct competition to Kia Motors MPV Carnival, is sold globally in markets such as Australia, New Zealand, Middle-East, South American and ASEAN countries. It comes with features such as various seating configurations, touch-free smart sensing rear door and smart automatic sliding doors, among others.

The MG Gloster is a proper three-row full-size SUV, and after the launch, it will go up against the likes of the Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner, and Mahindra Alturas. The MG Gloster will be launched in India in later 2020 or early 2021.

All these new models are scheduled to be launched in India later this year. MG Motors is owned by China's SAIC Motor Corporation.
