Honda WR-V with all-new diesel variant launched in India: Specifications, prices inside

Honda Cars India Has Finally Launched An All-new Diesel Variant In The WR-V Range At An Introductory Price Of Rs 9.95 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Automaker Has Also Upgraded The Existing S And VX Variants Of The Vehicle.

Honda Cars India has finally launched an all-new diesel variant in the WR-V range at an introductory price of Rs 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The automaker has also upgraded the existing S and VX variants of the vehicle.

The all-new Honda WR-V comes equipped with features such as headlamp integrated signature LED DRLs and position lamps, front fog lamps, turn indicators on ORVM, gunmetal finish, 16-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, chrome door handles and rear micro antenna.

Inside the cabin of the all-new Honda WR-V, it comes with the features like steering mounted controls, cruise control, automatic climate control, one push start/stop button with white and red illumination, black and silver upholstery, 17.7 cm advanced touchscreen infotainment with AVN, front centre armrest with storage console, Honda smart key system with keyless remote, and tilt and telescopic power steering.

On the safety features front, the newly-launched Honda WR-V houses features like rear parking sensor, front passenger seat belt reminder, high speed alert, speed sensing auto door lock, advanced compatibility engineering (ACE) body structure, dual SRS front airbags, anti-lock brake system (ABS) with electronic brake distribution (EBD), pedestrian injury mitigation technology and intelligent pedal.

The all-new Honda WR-V comes with two engine options. The 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder, SOHC, i-VTEC petrol engine that churns out 90 PS and 110 Nm of torque. It is offered with a 5-speed manual transmission. In the other hand, you will get a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, DOHC, i-DTEC diesel engine that delivers 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

It is to be noted that both the petrol and diesel options of Honda WR-V are available in S and VX variants, while the new V trim will come only with the diesel option and sit between the other two variants.

Coming to the S variant of Honda WR-V, it has been upgraded with features like gunmetal finish 16-inch multi-spoke alloy wheel, auto AC with touch control panel, fog lamps, speed sensing auto door lock, jack knife retractable key, driver side window one-touch up/down operation with pinch guard, driver and passenger side vanity mirror with lid. On the other hand, the top-spec VX variant gets leather-wrapped steering wheel and driver and passenger side vanity mirror with lid.

Petrol Variant

WR-V 1.2-litre i-VTEC S MT - Rs 8.15 lakh

WR-V 1.2-litre i-VTEC VX MT - Rs 9.25 lakh

Diesel Variant

WR-V 1.5-litre i-DTEC S MT - Rs 9.25 lakh

WR-V 1.5-litre i-DTEC V MT - Rs 9.95 lakh

WR-V 1.5-litre i-DTEC VX MT - Rs 10.35 lakh
