Hyundai Motor India unveiled its new sedan on December 19 and the actual design of the car was revealed on Tuesday when the company shared picture of ‘Aura’ on its Instagram handle.
Speaking at the Unveiling of All New Hyundai AURA, S S Kim, MD & CEO, Hyundai Motor India said, “It is a matter of great pride for the Hyundai Motor India as we unveiled our first and the most significant product for the industry in 2020. It is a New Benchmark product in the segment demonstrating Hyundai’s strong commitment to offer the highest quality and feature-rich products to the customers. Hyundai AURA will create Quality Time for customers making their life a Happy Life.”

Hyundai Aura comes equipped with three BS6-compliant engine options. There is a 1.0-litre Turbo GDi petrol powertrain that churns out 99bhp and 172 Nm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Also, there is a 1.2-litre turbo that belts out 82bhp and 114 Nm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or AMT.
As compared to Hyundai Xcent, Aura has an increased wheelbase and spacious cabin. The upcoming subcompact sedan further comes with premium features like a 5.3-inch digital multi-information display, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Arkamys sound system, wireless charger, eco coating, and air curtain.
