Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) witnessed a 10.3 per cent decline in total sales at 48,910 units in the month of February. The company had sold 54,518 units of automobiles in the same month last year, HMIL said in a statement. Hyundai’s exports also declined 22 per cent to 8,900 units as compared with 11,408 units last year.

Apart from this, the South Korean automaker commenced bookings of its popular SUV Hyundai Creta. “Over the years, Hyundai Creta has set new benchmarks, becoming an iconic brand name among Indian consumers and building a strong legacy with over 4.6 lakh happy customers across India.

It is time for the Creta to set new standards once again,” HMIL Director - Sales, Marketing & Service Tarun Garg said. All-new Hyundai Creta comes with various new features including voice enabled smart panoramic sunroof, advanced LED headlamps, blue link connectivity features, electric parking brake, air purifier, Bose sound system (8 speakers), among others.

The present model of Hyundai Creta is priced between Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 15.67 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2020 Hyundai Creta is expected to be priced between Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2020 Hyundai Creta will be up against the likes of Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Jeep Compass, and the Tata Harrier.

Hyundai Launches New Variant Of Grand i10 Nios

Hyundai recently also launched premium hatchback Grand i10 Nios and the new trim is powered with BS-VI compliant 1-litre turbo petrol engine. The company sells the model with petrol diesel and CNG powertrains.

Hyundai Venue BS6 Diesel Launch soon In India

According to a report of NDTV’s carandbike, Hyundai Venue diesel BS6 will receive the new 1.5-litre diesel engine at Rs 8.09 lakh for the base E variant, going up to Rs 11.49 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom) for the range-topping SX (O) Dual Tone. Meanwhile, the dealers have started accepting bookings for Hyundai Venue 1.5 Diesel BS6 at a token amount of Rs 21,000.
