Maruti Suzuki India has finally launched the much-awaited Vitara Brezza Facelift petrol. The price for the LXi trim of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Facelift petrol in India has been set at Rs 7.34 lakh, while the range-topping ZXi dual-tone automatic carries a price tag of Rs 11.40 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi). The launch of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Facelift petrol comes at least two weeks after the compact SUV was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020.
Maruti Suzuki India Managing Director & CEO Kenichi Ayukawa said, "Keeping up with its strong, urban and premium appeal, the all-new Vitara Brezza is bolder, sportier and more powerful. We are confident that the all-new Vitara Brezza will take forward the rich legacy of its predecessor with overwhelming customer response."
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Facelift petrol comes equipped with a 1.5-litre K-Series motor that has mild-hybrid SHVS technology. The engine churns out 102 bhp at 6000 rpm and 134 Nm of peak torque at 4400 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic.
As for the looks of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Facelift are concerned, the compact SUV comes equipped with a new chrome grille and revised bumper that gets larger air intakes and a faux skid plate. The Vitara Brezza Facelift further gets 16-inch alloy wheels and LED taillights. On the inside, the compact SUV gets revised upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the Smartplay Studio 2.0 interface.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Facelift is available in three dual-tone colour options including midnight Black roof, Torque Blue with midnight Black roof and Granite Grey with Autumn Orange roof.

It is worth mentioning here that launched back in the year 2016, with diesel engine only, the Vitara Brezza helped Maruti Suzuki establish itself as the leader in the utility vehicle segment. Over 5,00,000 units of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has been sold to date. In India, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Facelift will compete against the likes of Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300, and Kia Sonet.
