Mercedes Benz has unveiled the second generation of CLA Coupe at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show 2019 in Las Vegas. The new car will offer the sporty driving experience and is expected to arrive in the month of June in United Kingdom. The new CLA coupe is built and re-engineered on the previous car platform which uses the same latest technology present in A-class. The car looks a bit smaller than its predecessor and the new headlamps and big front grille will give it a sportier appeal.
Talking about its dimensions, the new CLA measures 4688mmx1830mmx1439mm which is 48mm longer, 53mm wider but 2mm lower than the older car. The wheelbase is also increased by 30mm and now measures 2729mm.

Mercedes Benz will sport a 2.0-litre four cylinder petrol engine which can produce 225 bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque which is mated with a 7G DCT dual clutch transmission.
On the inside, the new CLA will feature the flagship S-Class’s wide floating screen display integrated with Mercedes MBUX infotainment system. The MBUX is the most advanced in-house infotainment system which comes with active driver’s interaction.
The all-new Mercedes Benz CLA Coupe is expected to arrive in India in the financial year 2019-20 after the launch of Mercedes A Class sedan this year.
Currently, the CLA class is available in the price range between Rs 31.72 lakh to Rs 36.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). However, the new variant is expected to be a little costlier than the current version.

Recently, Mercedes Benz has unveiled a new variant of the recently updated C-Class sedan called the C-200 Progressive at a price of Rs 43.46 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The C-200 is build on the C-Class facelift which was launched in September 20, 2018 with single diesel engine.
The C-class range in India now includes the C 220d Prime at Rs 40.00 lakh, C 200 Progressive at Rs 43.46 lakh, C 220d Progressive at Rs 44.25 lakh, C 300d at Rs 48.50 lakh and the C 300 Cabriolet at Rs 65.25 lakh.
