Renault Captur SUV is all set to hit roads in India, bookings open

Captur is the first car in India which is based on BO platform

Renault India has finally introduced its premium SUV Captur in both petrol and diesel variant in Indian markets. The company has begun the pre-booking of the car and the SUV will be available from October in the showrooms.

Prospective buyers can book Renault Captur through the official website and by filing an application for Rs. 25,000.

Renault’s first car in India which is based on BO platform, Captur is already a successful venture in more than 75 countries around the world.

Talking about its interior, Renault Captur has a 7-inch infotainment system which is similar to the one present in Renault Duster which has Bluetooth connectivity and navigation.

The dashboard comes in two designed themes - Diamond Deck and Urban Connect with AC vents in chrome frames. The leather seats are best-in-class and are 6-way adjustable.

Now, about its power, Renault Captur comes with two engines options 1.5 litre H4K petrol engine which can produce 104 hp of power and 142 Nm torque and the other one is 1.5 litre K9K diesel engine with 108 hp of power and 240 Nm of torque.

 

For safety concerns, Renault Captur comes with dual airbags with ABS(Anti-Brake System) and EBD(Electronic brakeforce distribution)
