Skoda Kodiaq, Superb Corporate Editions Launched: Here’s All You Need To Know

Skoda Auto India has recently launched the Corporate Editions of Superb and the Kodiaq at the starting price of Rs 25.99 lakh and Rs 32.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India), respectively. Both these cars will be made available in multiple colour options. 

Skoda Kodiaq Corporate Edition comes in four colours options i.e. Quartz Grey, Moon White, Lava Blue and Magic Black. On the other hand, Skoda Superb Corporate Edition is available in two paint schemes including Candy White and Magnetic Brown. 

On the features front, Skoda Kodiaq Corporate Edition comes equipped with adaptive headlamps and LED DRLs, 18-inch alloy wheels with disc brakes, electrically-adjustable panoramic sunroof and black roof rails. The cabin of Skoda Kodiaq Corporate Edition has a 3-zone climate control, electrically adjustable front seats with memory function.  

On the other hand, Skoda Superb Corporate Edition comes equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, Bi-Xenon headlamps, height-adjustable 3-point seat belt and stone beige leather upholstery. 

Interestingly, both the Skoda Kodiaq and Superb (DSG) Corporate Editions comes equipped with a new generation Amundsen infotainment system, with n 8-inch floating touchscreen display, equipped with proximity sensors and SmartLink technology, supporting MirrorLink, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.  

On the safety features front, both the cars include Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Break-force Distribution (EBD), Hydraulic Brake Assistant (HBA), Anti Slip Regulation (ASR) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC), among others. While the Kodiaq comes with 9 airbags, the Superb (DSG) Corporate Edition sports 8 airbags. 

As far as the powertrain on both the cars are concerned, Skoda Kodiaq Corporate Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre TDI engine that belts out 148 bhp and 340 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The SUV also gets an all-wheel-drive system with an electronically controlled multi-plate clutch.  

Whereas, Skoda Superb Corporate Edition comes with two engine options including a 1.8-litre TSI petrol automatic and the 2.0-litre TDI automatic. The petrol engine churns out 178 bhp and 250 Nm peak torque, while the diesel mill produces 175 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque. While the petrol engine gets a 7-speed DSG, the diesel model gets a 6-speed DSG automatic transmission.
