Last week, Tesla unveiled its maiden electric truck, also known as Cybertruck, at an event in Los Angeles, California. Tesla’s new electric pickup truck has secured almost 200,000 orders within three days of its launch. It is to be noted that Tesla chief Elon Musk, who has been regularly tweeting about the Cybertruck's features since its launch late, has also been updating his followers with the number of orders the company has received.

In an earlier tweet, Musk said the company had received 146,000 orders for Cybertruck. However, on Sunday, he tweeted again saying "200K" - an apparent reference to the number of orders.

The introductory price for the Cybertruck has been set at $39,000. The Cybertruck will hit the roads by late 2021, but preorders can be made at tesla.com/cybertruck. However, the company's website shows that an immediate payment of $100 is required to reserve an order for the Cybertruck.

Cybertruck seats six adults. The body of Cybertruck is made of ultra-hard 30X cold-rolled stainless steel. The payload has a 3,500-pound capacity, with 100 cubic feet of storage space. The truck’s vault length is 6.5 feet, and it will have 4-inch suspension in either direction. A 17-inch touchscreen sits in the center of the dashboard. The truck also has an onboard air compressor and onboard outlets.

There are three versions of the truck available:

The price for the single motor rear-wheel-drive with 250 miles of range, 7,500-pound towing capacity, and 0-60 mph capabilities in under 6.5 seconds, has been set at $39,900.

The price for the dual-motor all-wheel-drive with 300 miles of range, 10,000-pound towing capacity, and 0-60 mph in under 4.5 seconds, has been set at $49,900.
