In collaboration with Universitatea Aurel Vlaicu din Arad, Romania, NDIM hosted a two-day international conference on February 22–23, 2024, under the sponsorship of the ICSSR, with the theme Developing Managerial Capabilities and Empowering Youth to Shape the Future: G20 Agenda for Innovation and Skill Enhancement. Visionary and educationist, Dr Bindu Kumar, Chairperson of NDIM, and the key person behind NDIM no 1 rankings, declared the 2 day international conference open. Chief Guest IAS Sonal Goel, Secretary, Government of Tripura, acknowledged the conference with her presence and offered her thoughts on innovation and skill enhancement in ongoing education and career development.
This conference attracted industry heavyweights from the field of Academia and Corporates. The event was dignified by the presence of senior academician like Prof Jagdish C. Kapur, Prof. (Dr.) Sanjiv Mittal, Dr. Abha Vermani, Dr. Durgesh Tripathi, Ajay Kumar Gupta, Sachin Bharti, and international speakers like Dr. Alina Costin, Dr. Shad Ahmad Khan, Ms. Torkos Henriettalecturer from the university of Oman and Romania. More than fifty high-ranking executives from various sectors, including Accenture, DMA, AIMA, Ministry of Home Affairs (GOI), Ministry of HRD (GOI), and more addressed to NDIM students. Over 300 students, research scholars, and faculty members attended the conference, and numerous presentations were delivered.
The convener, Prof. (Dr.) Madhu Arora, gave a vote of thanks to each and every delegate. In this magnificent occasion, research scholars and students presented what they discovered. The experts praised NDIM for its research projects and for organising these kinds of events for management students who consistently perform well on placement exams.
