What is Hackathon?
A Hackathon is a 1 to 7 day-long event in which computer programmers are involved in software development. Occasionally, there is a hardware component as well.
Hackathons are intended for many purposes, some for educational and some for social purposes, although in most cases the goal is to create usable software but there is no restriction on the type of software being developed.
However, Hackathons are disposed toward an idea, to have a specific focus, which can include the programming language used, the operating system, an application, an A PI, or the subject and the demographic group of the programmers.
