Mumbai:
The US dollar ended lower against the rupee at Rs.65.20/21 per dollar but the pound sterling finished higher at Rs.92.97/99 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange (forex) market on Friday.
Earlier on Friday morning, the Reserve Bank of India fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 65.2226 against the US dollar and 80.3412 for the euro. The corresponding rates were 65.3496 and 80.7982 on Thursday.
