Yes, you heard it right. Now you can use WhatsApp for easy investing. The first of its kind initiative has been launched by Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company (Motilal Oswal AMC).
It has become the first AMC in the country to introduce mutual funds (MFs) to WhatsApp. Customers can use their instant messaging app window to complete the mutual fund purchase.
“Offering transactions on WhatsApp is our effort to try and be present wherever our investors might find it easier and convenient to be able to deal with us," Aashish Somaiyaa, MD & CEO, Motilal Oswal AMC had said at the launch.
Users who want to invest can initiate a transaction in Motilal Oswal MF funds through his/her registered mobile number just by typing a salutation. The entire process can be completed in less than two minutes and users can get an instant transaction confirmation.
Investors can either invest lumpsum or through SIPs.
