Honda launches 110 cc bike 'Dream Neo'

Japanese auto major Honda on Tuesday launched its second 110 cc mass segment bike Dream Neo in three variants, priced at Rs 46,140 (ex-showroom Mumbai) in a bid to enhance its market share in the segment.

"Dream Neo is Honda's next big leap towards creating deep inroads into the Indian commuter segment. We are confident of demand for Honda two wheelers and eye 43 per cent growth with 39.3 lakh unit sales this fiscal," Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Ltd (HMSI) Vice President for Sales and Marketing Y S Guleria said at the launch here.

Backed by the new product launches and network expansion, Honda aims to grow over 150 per cent in 100-110cc motorcycle segment year-on-year, he said

HMSI will be expanding its sales outlets to about 2,500 by end of this fiscal from 1,950 in the previous fiscal.

Developed specifically for the Indian customers, the new entry-level 'Dream' series motorcycle is powered by a 110 cc engine and the company claims that it will give a mileage of 74 kilometre per litre of petrol.
